“Will artificial intelligence bring about the end of humanity?”

This was the first question I asked the #ChatGPT chatbot. Here’s what followed.

It is unlikely that artificial intelligence will bring about the end of humanity. While it is true that AI has the potential to be very powerful and could potentially be used to harm humanity, it is important to remember that AI is a tool that is created and controlled by humans. It is ultimately up to us to ensure that AI is used for the benefit of humanity, and not as a means to bring about our demise. Furthermore, there are many people working on developing AI in a way that is safe and beneficial to humanity, so it is unlikely that AI will be used to bring about the end of humanity.
